Well, one…it fit our budget. No need to break the bank and go balls to the wall. We had NO idea what we were doing. Neither of us had ever owned a camper before. Just like the house, I wanted something that, if I had to, I could manage and maintain all by myself. Aaron’s health still wasn’t at 100 percent but was getting better.
Two, everyone wanted their own room with a door. This model had a bunk room and a “master.”
Three, I could pull it with my truck…or so I thought. Long story short, I had my brother drive it out to the lake to make sure I wasn’t crazy. He has more experience towing and I trust what he says. No, my truck was not big enough to tow it. Might have been on paper, but in reality, it wasn’t. It felt very loose (best way I can describe it) over 45 mph. Soooooo, I guess the next thing on our to-do list is truck shopping.
