I can’t believe it’s already the first of a new month!!! 1/3 of the year is GONE already. 😲 Time to buckle down and make the most of 2023! Maybe you have been crushing your goals already this year and looking to keep the momentum going or maybe you’re looking to get started this month to end the year on a strong note. Either way … a new month brings new opportunities & chances to begin fresh!
This can be your day 1 of a new chapter, so here are some simple ways to make the most out of the first of the month…
- MAKE A PLAN. Get a planner, write out everything. Plan your meals, workouts, appointments, everything! I have a weekly planner from Target that I put on the fridge.
- CLEAN. Clean out your fridge and pantry. It’s so easy to clutter those places up, so take the time this week to get it tidied up.
- RESET. Maybe last month was busy and hectic, you didn’t accomplish what you wanted to, THAT IS OKAY! No one is perfect. Reset, move on, and try again this month.
- TAKE PROGRESS PICS. If you’re working out, being active, document your progress through the month. Sometimes the scale doesn’t move or you’re trying to build muscle … your photos will always show your progress good or bad! TAKE THE DAMN PHOTO!
- GOALS. Think about what exactly it is you want to accomplish this month and most importantly, write them down! You’re not going to take yourself seriously if you won’t even do this. 🤷🏻♀️
- REFLECT. Be proud of how far you have come this year and all you’ve accomplished! This will motivate you to KEEP GOING! 🫶🏻
You have a whole new month. I promise you, you don’t need to tackle everything today, but getting started on the right foot will help you succeed this month! Our SMALL steps and accomplishments are what makes it possible to achieve our goals.
